After reading all the posts on this since it opened a couple weeks ago, I have to say I ethically and morally agree with Ron. I may not be as fired up about it as he is, but I do agree with him. The law was pretty simple, and clear. The fish and game easily could have said that due to the law not going into effect until July you can't even buy a hunting license until then. Plus Those that incorrectly put in for the tags that were underage, should have been taken out. Like I said earlier I didn't think F&G would backstep on their initial decision and that looks to be the course they are taking. Doesn't make it right, it just is and for many it just sucks. I'm just grateful that this can only happen this one year d/t the circumstances. Hopefully they will learn something from the blowback and think this sort of thing through better when they implement future changes.
