They are coming slowly but that is no fault of this forum and its participants. This place is a gold mine of information.
I confess that the Scadden plays second fiddle to actually going out with my fishing partner and as a result, has lagged a bit. We are expecting some serious storms this week so I will get back to messing with the layout.
I decided to go with the Scotty universal fishfinder mount. I have a rail mount socket on the frame now and it is in a perfect spot for the FF. I have not decided on a spot for the transducer.
I will be putting together some rod mounts on baskets to be strapped to the rear deck. I need to make 2 fly rod specific holders but have also branched out to spinning and bait casting tackle.
I am putting off the keel since dragging the oars had made that less of an issue.
One thing I did was change the straps to rope with clips. That has improved set up and take down and the blessing is I am not working at ankle height trying to thread straps through buckles. That was a killer. Remember this is for use on ponds and not white water.
Finally, for now, I am considering getting a trailer so that no assembly will be required.
