Halkey Roberts valves do not stop taking air. They will take as much as you give them, that is why the new boats have pop off valves.
You want 2 to 2 1/2 lbs of air in each pontoon. Air Gauge is nice so you get both sides the same (like car tires)
Sounds like a good trip.
Still say with motor behind you are in full hands free control all the time, no matter what you are doing. Just throwing that out there.
You will loose rowing ability if you raise the seat. Not a good thing relying totally on a motor.
What problem do you have with the lean bar?
