[#800000]Two of us went to Strawberry on Tuesday. We arrived at the SB Marina at about 8:30 AM and the temp was 6 degrees. We launched at 9:00 and went about 1/4 east. There are NO shoreline gaps at Strawberry currently. The ice cap is about 8 -10 inches of solidly frozen slush on top of a 4 - 5 inch gap (probably water) followed by another 8-10 inches of clear ice. About 11 AM we headed over to the south side of the marina bay and fished off the east most point (where you turn south to go to Renegade). Same ice conditions there. There was a big quad already there that came across from the marina. We saw dozens of non-fishing people riding snowmobiles across the bay all day long.[/#800000]

[#800000]The fishing was slow but we managed to ice about 15 at the second spot. We kept one cut below the slot and 2 chunky bows. It was a beautiful day to be out with only slight breezes in the afternoon and severe clear skies all day. The temp had gotten to about 40 when we left the marina lot at 4 PM.[/#800000]

[#800000]If Strawberry only gets snow over the next week or so instead of the rain that we are going to be getting down here along the Wasatch Front, then conditions shouldn't change very much at all. But a wise person would be calling the marina for conditions on the afternoon BEFORE making a trip up there. The phone number is (435) 548-2261.[/#800000]
