Well with the elk hunt over and a bit of time off i had some time to go fishing. This still does not mean i'm trying at this thing but had some fun and some luck.

THURSDAY
My cousin and his boy came down to see if we could hook into a few pike at Yuba. It was snowing side ways most the day but we managed two northerns the most exciting part was the trip home we seen a bunch of deer and about turned around but it was about 2:30 and we was going to stop in Mona so we didn't good thing or we would of been in the middle of that whole mess ( my hart goes out to my brothers in blue that was involved in that senseless act) we counted 78 cops with their light on from Mona to Lindon.
SUNDAY
Me and one of my boys made a trip to Logan to see my cousins new house. OMG I want a house just like that and after the grand tour and me being extremely jealous we went to try out Newton with no luck at all is there even any fish in that lake.
MONDAY
Hit Yuba with TDT he got 2 i lost 2 and my oldest boy lost 2 also
TUESDAY
With my cousin having business in Huntington we ran up for splake or what ever may bit in Joe's valley good choice we got a few i did get a nice one 24 inches in 18 FOW on a black jig tipped with sucker meat long drive but a good day

WEDNESDAY
Having to work a 12 hour grave yard i decided a short trip was in order so deer creek it was. slow for the most part the first fish was a brown about 18.5 inches long then i another small tap on my line with a GIANT brown on the other end that was as big as any cut out of the berry i have ever caught and he broke me off at the hole then we got into the bow for a few hours the bigest being 20 inches but i my fish the rest of the year in that one spot looking for another chance at that brown that i know was over 30 inches it was a big male with a hook jaw sweet looking fish

what a weekend and i hate pan fish someone will have to drag me out after them so we will see what happens
