G'day Mike and other interested readers of this post. <br><br>If I am correct, patagonia tooth fish run the very deep canyon channels off the shelf in the southern hemisphere and I suspect this fish would have been caught by a pro or someone doing some real deep jigging e.g. 700 - 1200 feet. <br><br>Never caught one but this one above, while much larger, looks like the ones they catch down this way. Real ugly and live right down in the dark, cold currents. <br><br>With their mouth open they have a gob full of big tearing teeth.
