Actually what really gets me is when I look at the ads in those for the real estate. Sunny Florida, 30 acres for 5k or something like that. Also the ads for clothing with modern fabrics like nylon. It really gets good when you find some from the 50's and early 60's and see the ads for rifles and handguns. The handgun ads disappeared in the early 60's and rifles in the late 60's. Send 5.99 to wherever and get your .38 in 3 weeks. (Yes people, the problem is the guns themselves.)
They are fun and pretty cool but not worth lots. Not sure where to get them appraised but you can get a general idea for sure on ebay. I will pick up a lot every few years or so.
