Hello Everyone on the Forum:
This is my first post although I have been enjoying reading your posts and learning about the fishing in this area for some time. We are trying to move here and currently just live in a travel trailer. I have some health limitations, so I have enjoyed reading this forum on a regular basis just to relive my experiences of bass fishing when I was younger. I like reading about wolfs4ever and his fishing trips with his daughter. My son who lives here takes me fishing to Lake Mead (Echo Bay) when its not too hot. We also went to Mojave last Saturday and got there just as a tournament of about 25 boats was taking off. They didn't really bother us as the lake seemed to absorb them. We caught a few bass (lm and sm), and I found the trick in the clear water was to make long casts. I enjoy reading about the striper fishing too as there seems to be a number of you guys who are friends and share your tips. This is good. While growing up in Tennessee we would fish for bass at night during the hot months. Do they do that on Lake Mead? Keep posting your experiences for those of us who don't get to go as often. Thanks, jellyworm
