Best four stroke kicker motors?

That's exactly the kind of info I was hoping to get. The features on your friends motor is what I would like. Is his a Honda as well? I've had several people tell me to go with the Honda over the Merc, I fish almost exclusively at the Gorge and troll a lot. The 8 hp would be sufficient I think. I have an 18.5 glass boat which a 5hp 2 stroke trolls fine. I was thinking bigger simply because of how knarly that lake can become fast and if I had a primary motor issue I'd have my work cut out for me with a 5 hp motor.
