i find it pretty residents here are now convinced it takes 15 to 20 years and bonus points just to draw out somewhere. sorry but there is something wrong with that number. yet so many people in this state thinks its the norm. perhaps game management should learn from this interesting epidemic. i remember hunting down by salina one year on a spike hunt. needless to say i saw 12 different herd bulls wandering around bugling in the middle of the day till noon. and they stayed out in the oak brush till noon. i have never seen elk act like that other than yellowstone. not to mention the herd bulls only had 6 to 7 cows with them because there were so many. ???? something wrong with that picture.
