Back in the tube again

[cool][#0000ff]Most of the lakes in Utah are reservoirs...damming anything from small seasonal streams to full-flowing year round rivers...like the Colorado. [/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]Starvation Reservoir is fed by two main sources and fills well during most years. But depending on the snow pack in the mountains...and normal runoff...and the needs of downstream water users (farmers)...the water outflow can vary widely from year to year. We have had good snowpack and long wet springs the past two years, so the lakes have remained at good levels. Lousy snowpack and dry spring this year. All lakes are dropping fast. Another bad winter and we will be in a drought situation.[/#0000ff]
