My favorite place is above Panguitch Lake on the plateau. There is a creek that starts from the log cabins and goes down through the sage brush plateau and it is chuck full of Brookies with the occasional brown or cutt. The Sevier river is also good with nymphs if it is not muddy. The Sevier river is just out of Panguitch city and I like it around Kingston canyon and it shouldn't be to muddy now, in a few weeks with the runoff it will be to muddy to fish. I'm not a fan of Minersville, but the mountains later in the year has great dry fly fishing. I never have been up to Kolob and I lived in Saint George for 3 years, I would always go to Panguitch instead. I hope this helps.
