I hit the south fork yesterday at about 3:00 AM to see if I could get some morning kitties to no avail. I caught some smallies in the morning. The key was just finding the males on the beds. I hit the river below the damn at about 10 am and the river was hot and people were catching limits of nice rainbows/cutbows. I caught a bunch of rainbows on worms and a shrimp looking fly. I couldn't get them to chase a rapala or spinner. The key on the worms was to use no weight and just drift the worm down current.
