This time of the year two rods I always have on the front deck are a jig rod and a senko rod.. Switch up the weights and sizes on the jigs till you find what they like. A little tip, the craws molt this time of year every 30 days with the change in moon phases, so change colors accordingly. black/red Louisiana craws were introduced into Mead years ago plus there are native craws.

Think about switching over to a bluegill color as they are next to spawn in bass areas.
