Wow! The water is extremely low! I couldn't even get across the entrance to Slippery Creek!
I was scouting today for a couple charters for tomorrow and Saturday so I was moving fast, more intent on finding where they were than catching'em.
I still caught a 17" trout and a 23" red! Both fish had fish in their stomach, but the red ate a DOA shrimp cast next to the shoreline.
The trout ate a shad tail jig, without the jig! It was trailing way out the back as I trolled beside the shoreline, it just had a circle hook pinned in its nose.
The north wind was up to 10 mph and the water is clearing up!
