Southern California Saltwater Report 9/25-10/1
#5

Southern Califoria Saltwater

Report for September 29, 2003 (Monday)

Way Up North- Avila and Monterey
Angler numbers were down but Chris's and Virg's boat's got albies.

Up North- Channel Island
Rockfish, Red Snapper, White fish and a few yellows were caught

LA Area- Catalina Island
I have a sneaking suspicion that only one or two boats went to Catalina today.

Further South- San Clemente
No good news.

San Diego- Local and Offshore
Calicos seem to be biting relatively good along with the rockfish, sheepshead, white fish, red snapper and sculpin.

LA Local
1/2 day boats are going out with less than 10 people to catch 25 to 30 fish MISERABLE!!!!! However some boats actually are killing the Red Snapper and Sculpin(MDR). But Not Many!
