makin a trip to lakewood! need some help

ill be takin a trip to lakewood, colorado in the next couple weeks. ill be stayin with a relative around the three lakes area. i was lookin for some info on what lakes, ponds and rivers were around. what species are in the individual bodies of water and can i use a float tube on one? im mostly lookin for some trout waters but all others are cool. and what techniques have been workin for all species lately? and lastly are their any kiddie ponds as im going to teach my cousin to fish.
