nice.. i used to live in coos bay and roseburg. i fished the umpqua and many of its hidden tributaries years ago, they used to have a great smallmouth population 5lbers were common, not sure nowadays, and coos bay surf and jetty fishing is great. and don't forget about the stripers in the coos river and the sloughs around coos bay, plus there are sturgeon in the bay and river also. and the american shad should be running right now too, mini tarpon on light gear LOL. I'm even more jealous now LOL! have a great time man!! one more place, if you can get to it on your trip ten mile lake just north of coos bay/north bend. hold HUGE largemouth its not uncommon to land a 10lber.
