My bad. Sorry. Somehow I read "Plant a billion more Wipers to fill the gap", and my mind went with Wipers. The six fish limit didn't help me either. I don't fish there very often, and didn't realize that there is an exception to the 10 Walleye, state wide limit. One of the complaints that the DWR always mentions is that people don't want the regulations to change every year, or have different regulations on each and every water. They've already changed the Walleye regulations at Willard. That couldn't mean that they are paying attention, or that they're trying to do something to help the situation though.[crazy] Or could it?
There is probably no reason to worry about the Walleye in there. One good water year, and their numbers will be right back. There is no way to replace an age class that is missing though. You might find yourself having to weed through jillions of 8 to 10 inchers next year to get any over 15.
