The DWR could get a plethora of Perch into Yuba if it really wanted to do something.I would gladly donate a weekend and a tank of gas to go down to Fish Lake and net a couple thousand Perch and transport them to Yuba. It would help both waters. And it could easily be done for about .20 per fish.Do that a half dozen times each spring and in a few years, who knows? I'll bet if the DWR asked for volunteers and furnished the nets, plenty of folks with boats would donate time and gas.
Anything is really better than what they are doing now. And what Fishrmn thinks they should do. NOTHING
The whole argument of " too many predators, can't do anything" surely isn't solving the problem. The lake would probably be nothing but gazillions of carp if the Walleye and Pike weren't in there.
