That is a good quote. I met a hunter on a ridge while I was elk hunting, and after I told him about how we worked hard to find elk, and then how it took my dad and I two days to pack out my dad's bull, he replied,
"Yeah, I'd rather be lucky than good at this sport anyday."
I thought that was a good one too.
I know there's elk in 60 or 60A. Glass any ag fields at first light. I know there's gotta be some alfalfa fields to glass in that area. Still, it's a tough area, and big. If you see a spike, I'd pull the trigger.
