Hiked into a nice little lake on Friday just north of Payette Lake (north of McCall) to the east of Warren Wagon road - Pearl Lake. A little over 7 miles in on the forrest road, followed by about a 1.5 mi or so hike with the float tubes and waders on our backs. Weather was great on Friday and the cutthroat were very accomodating to both wets and dries for both myself and my fishing buddy. Turned off cold on Sat, so timed it right for the Friday hike. Nice little hike, trail was better than anticipated, and good cutthroat fishing to boot. Can't ask for more.
