Stink bait for brownlee???

What kind of bait produces the most catfish at brownlee??? I have used livers and all the other stuff but it doesnt seem to work and its hard to keep on a hook. Does anyone know of a good flavor of stinkbait or dip bait that works well..... also i know that the water level is way down right now...anyone been up there lately and done any good?
