Very touching words TD. It brings back memories of my fathers last few years that he was with us. He was very weak but still wanted to go fishing. So I built a set of stairs that would hook on to the boat and he would use every bit of energy he had to get up them. Some times after a days fishing he did not have the energy to get out of the boat and he would stay in there untill we got home. It was a lot of work for me but when he would tell fishing stories to the rest of the family about the wipers at willard bay or the trout he caught at strawberry it made it very rewarding, besides I owed it to him for all of the times he took me fishing when I was younger. I took him faithfully three days week untill I lost him in the spring of 2002. Like you he was the first to put a fishing pole in my hand and I was the last to put one in his.
