that dolphin is still being harvest by fisherman, I am member of Okinawan Fishing Association, at meetings many people call me 'namaiki' I make many many enemies because I talk about how wonderful our nature is and how wonderful dolphin is and how we need to preserve our wonderful islands natures I think dolphin is not like fish, I think dolphin has consciences and it is very smart. If I was commercial fisherman and dolphin eats my fishes, maybe I would hate dolphin also. This is very difficult subject because many fisherman are my elder. They are old and have very strict ways, I hope that I can teach new generations of fisherman how wonderful dolphin is. I think it is to kill dolphin because dolphin is not taste good. Most dolphin is wasted that is killed and very few are used for foods.
I am also member of 'Save Dugong' do you know this mammal? I have same feelings for this mammal.
SNAKES!!! I hate snake!!! When I was young I was bite by Habu, this was when I was playing in sugar cane fields. Since this time, I hate all snake in Okinawa!!! They seem to me very evil. In the oceans they pretend to be dead, they lay on bottom and dont move very much, this makes people not see them or this makes people come to touch them, when they do, THEY BITE!!! with very strong poisons that can kill you. This is way for them to make fishes think they are bait. But sometimes people are tricked too! Yes there are many dangerous animals in Okinawa. Snakes are everywhere in Okinawa, some are in ocean, some are in mountain, some are on beach, and some are in cane fields, some are under houses!!! I hate snakes.
I have some innerliner rod from daiwa, this is very good idea, but I have problems with cleaning this rod sometimes. The salt water is sometimes difficult to wash from inside, but I make a rubber and plastic adapter that pressure wash from my shower. Are they popular in America? I think for big fishes, this is great rod type.
