I have made one using jumpers and metal rods off my car while it is running you dont need that much voltage to get em up.

I have also used laundry soap on the grass and hose it down to bubble it up.

OR you can always "GRUNT" them up!!! i want to try grunting. need a wood stake and a scrap metal piece.
