[cool][#0000ff]Hey, in years past (before "global warming" kept the lakes frozen until June) I have caught walleyes and catfish as early as mid February. But, the reality is that the fishing usually does not develop until the ice cap comes off and the wind puts some oxygen in the water. That stuff today looked BAAAAAAD. I am sure that the chemistry of that water was slightly below ideal after the long winter under the ice. [/#0000ff]
