i guss americans really luck out over there. i had to take my state side liscense to the Rath Haus and sign a document stating i would respect private proerty and fishing club rights, paid 18 Euro and had my fishing liscense. i found a farmer that owned some land along the Rhine that allowed me to fish, and depending on the time of year keep one or two if i wanted. i always gave him one fish after i cleaned it for thanking him.
