You should also consider the lowrance lcd line of ice machines. They have both real time flasher and traditional time elapse display, both are almost instant read(you twitch your rod and the display responds immediately). They can do a side by side display of the whole water column and zoom in where your jig is at the same time(do that with an old school flasher). The x67's are about $120 cheaper also.[]
