[cool]Hey, loanfish, good to have you drop in on our little board here. Glad you have had good luck with your neoprenes. Most of the problems people have had with Hodgmans have been with the "wadelights"...with the neoprene feet on fabric uppers.
Glad to hear you are catchin' the tubing bug. Could be worse. I think you will survive it...if we can get you fixed up in a good system. The best advice I can give is to just let everybody know you are looking and then keep reading the posts and the classified ads. You might also drop in to some of the better tackle shops and look on their bulletin boards, if they have one, to see if anyone is posting one for sale.
My experience has been that once someone has a good tube, they usually don't get rid of it until it's worn out...unless they are upgrading to a bigger or better one. That's about your best hope right now.
If budget is a concern, and all you can find to start with is an inexpensive round tube, then take what you can get and learn in that. If you find a good deal on a U-boat or V-boat later, you can usually sell the round one for what you paid...or keep it as a backup for a new recruit you want to take fishing.
Good luck in your search, and come on back to this board any time with any questions you have. We can help you save a lot of time and frustration by helping you learn the right way.
