[font "Comic Sans MS"][#008000][size 3]I concur with flygoddess on the waders. A good pair of waders is essential to one's welfare. Nothing worse than having your waders start to leak in heavy waters. While I don't expect most to spring for a pair of Simms G3s, mine have been solid for over six years. You get what you pay for. If you don't require a full chest wader, consider a pair of wading pants. They are considerably less expensive. When I started fly fishing I used a pair of insulated hip boots to fish the cold waters in Washington. They are over 20 years old and still going strong.
