You should consider a Remote Troll made up in Logan, Utah. They are rock solid and you can steer them remotely. They are made for all angles and applications. I've run one for years and never had a problem, but I always thru bolt them through the transom with heavy backing plates. I also bungee my motor when travelling so it won't bounce.
