Well im glad something i showed you worked out. Nothing wrong with it. Its Fun to catch the fish and fight with the big ones. As long as your loseing streak with fish ended and im sure when you have more time you will buy a minny bucket and some more minnies or some shinners and make a fun day of it. I will be going to yellow creek tomorrow since the women has a day off. Maybe go to the creek and catch a few more chubs so i can try and catch something over 30 inches this time.(fingers crossed)lol
Just bring 2 rods with you next time. That way you can fish with live bait and try your artificals. The thing with artificals is you have to change alot and check and see what depths most of the fish are at. So you have to cast alot with different lures to check all areas to see what they are hitting on. Usually White and light Green are good colors to use.
Have you ever caught a fish on a artifical before? Its Possible if you have never caught anything you have had bites and just not realize the feeling of it? Just a wild guess on it.
