I finally boiled it down to just three things to spend money on... 1. POWER 2.MORE POWER 3. Pixels
My unit is 20 yrs old (to put my opinions in context). It still beats most of what is on the market. No color back in the day. Back then hummingbird was junk, so I bought a couple of Eagles... both under powered with very poor resolution. The x60 was more than worth the 300 bills.
What I'm saying is "all the bells and whistles aren't worth squat if you can't see anything on the screen" whatever brand you buy spend all your money on the three things listed above and you will be a very happy fisherman.
