First time live minnow fishing
#13
I am having a little trouble with the computer I am using so I will try again-------
Thanks for the clarification on the White Bass and Sand Bass. I was told by a local fisherman in the tackle shop that there were Sand Bass in the lake. When I caught a bass species I didn't recognize I assumed it was the Sand Bass he was talking about. I recognized the White Bass when I caught it because I have caught so many of them at Utah Lake. However, the bass species I assumed was a Sand Bass looks a little like a Smallmouth but with a bar on the sides.

They also have Stripers in the lake, and they have a fish they call a "Hybrid." I asked him if the hybrid was a cross between a White Bass and a Striper and he said, "Yes." Therefore, they must have Wipers in the lake as well. Anyway, I caught four different fish species in a few hours. Three of the species I recognized, and the fourth remains unidentified I guess. Thanks again for the information.
