I tried the same thing as you but they grow at such an angle it's hard to get'em all. You can cut that area out but it wastes alot of meat. Big fish are alot easyer. The best way I found out is to cook'em first, run your finger along the fillet and pluck'em out one by one...Still can miss some that way too [crazy]. If you find a good way please let me know.
