Well I have a couple of questions about surf fishing for sharks. Me and my husband live in southeast Texas and fish at Mcfaddin beach in sabine pass. The first question I have is if anyone knows the conditions, weather wise, tides.. etc.. when the shark are more apt to bite. Also have heard different story's as far as how many shark you can keep. Me and my husband have been surf fishing the past 3 weekends. The first weekend was great, second was horrible and last weekend was ok. The bait differs from day to day as to what they will bite on. One day they hit hard on cut mullet, other day's it's pogie. Would love any suggestions on bait and any advice on the conditions when they are biting better would be appreciated.
