You guys are going to hang me for this one,
I was a kid, bout 10 or so if I remember right,
my dad was working a a mason, "brick layer" over several years he had worked on hundreds of houses.
One summer day, he takes me out on one of his job sites where I got to meet none other than Base ball's 1968 world seroius winner, hall of famer "Al Kaline".
thats not the hanging part, the hanging part was he gave me an atographed baseball bat to wich I used to play with and hit many a home run with untill the day I got about 12 years old when I found the sweet spot in the bat wich sent the ball flying 300+ feet across the road and shattering the bat in to a million tooth picks.... [pirate]
I didnt realize the scope of what I had done untill he was inducted to the base ball hall of fame 1980. arrrrrrrrgggggg !!!!!!
