David Lee Roth (Van Halen). Back in 1980 on my 18th birthday Van Halen played a concert at the Midsouth Coliseum in Memphis, TN. After the show my two older brothers and I followed their limo to the Hyatt Regency to try to meet them. The doormen at the hotel weren't letting anyone in that wasn't a guest but when David Lee Roth got out of the limo I just walked up to him and started telling him how great the show was and walked right through the front door with him.
I talked to him all the way to the bar in the hotel lobby and even had beers with him for about 30 minutes until the groupies started showing up. Then as I was leaving the bar area a hotel security approached me and ask if I was a guest at the hotel and when I couldn't produce a key to a room he detained me and called local police and I was arrested for public intoxication on my 18th birthday.
Great Van Halen concert, Meet David lee Roth and briefly the rest of the band including shaking hands with Eddie Van Halen himself, then arrested all on my 18th birthday party night!!!
