[cool]Hey, TC, sounds like you've "dialed in" on the bass at Steinaker. Wayta go. Better watch out though, that stuff can be addictive. Worse things could happen. Better than being addicted to work.
I imagine every guy who has ever dunked a float tube has suffered the ignorance and insolence of boaters. They just don't take us seriously, in spite of the fact that we are usually better fishermen and catch more fish.
My typical response when a boater seems to want to occupy the same cubic yard of space that I am in is to ask "If you are running short of water to fish in, I'll see if they will add more to the lake."...or, "Sorry if I'm crowding you. Would you like me to move out of your way." ...or " Gee, if my silence is disturbing your boating, let me know and I'll quit fishing." In most cases, the dimbulbs in the boats have no idea what I am talking about. In the other cases they become hostile...like it's my fault.
When we go to Saguaro, we almost expect it. It doesn't help us to like it anymore but it does help us to deal with it.
