How about a fall trip to Pleasant Valley Res, just North of Bishop. Sounds far but very scenic plus we could probably truckpool up there since it only seems to be a few of us at a time. Lots of Rainbows in the daytime and Browns at night. Great Crawdads if we bring a trap, also the campground is cheap and right below the get-in spot.Don't get me wrong, I love the Hali fishing and the salt stuff but this allows everybody a chance to fish calm clear cool waters. We might even flyswat...
