this is good news! the reason I say so is because I recently learned of the cost of property and a home in new zealand. (a house and property costing 800k in the u.s. will run you about 400-450k american dollars in new zealand) I have seen that the housing isn't usually as stellar for the price and it's more about the property location, but that's what renovating is about...and you still come out ahead. add to that the fact that the view is just gorgeous in new zealand and the great trout fishing you've posted about...sure is tempting. []
