AHA![] It is an older Evinrude. Say, what model is that? I have a few really old Evinrude parts gathered from since when I was about 13. I loved and still love taking old stuff apart.
Man, you should take a look at the new Evinrude E-Tecs just for fun. They are 2 strokes with cleaner emissions than 4 strokes, plus you don't need to mix in any oil any more, they built a way around that. They are a heck of a lot lighter too. I read a report by an outboard reviewer who toured all the major manufacturer's plants. He said the Wisconsin Evinrude plant impressed him most. They have got the most hi-tech stuff for building the motor parts.
About when do you plan on getting a newer motor? And what will you be doing with the old one? I will be interested if you plan to sell it. Can you tell me what year and model it is?
