It sounds like a report from some of the guys fishing the sawdust hole .
We almost hit that strech of the river , but we were pushing the E on the gas tank at the time . Most of the guys were parked at the top of the hill after you got to the end of the road and were warning of taking the road down to the river . I looked at the road , no problem for my truck , my driveway is a lot steeper and covered in ice .
I did talk to a angler from St.Louis that had been fly fishing that area for the last 3 days , no luck for him but he had seen a few taken .
We hit the highbridge strech after gassing up the truck , plenty of boats were in the river .
The upper streches of the pier markette and the little manistee were suposibly producing some guys said , others said they wern't seeing any action at all .
Best reports were comming from your home river [cool] .
