[black]Orvis has been shaking things up lately, but here is what I have.[/black]
[black]This is one of the first ONE OUNCE. It is a 2 piece 7' with the finish that you can feel the wrapping on it is also a Full Flex 4.5 and Gray with Burgundy Wraps:[/black]
[black] [inline "ONE OZ 3 400.jpg"][/black]
The "Superfine Series" was much like this one ounce in the ruff blank, but they did have up locking reel seat instead of the rings.
They later came out with the RED "Superfines" with the up-locking reel seat in black the same as the T3. These were the same blanks but a different finish and hardware.
This is the popular 7'9" two piece Far and Fine "Superfine" which is no longer made (in a two piece anyway). It is a 5.5 Full Flex. It was not yet called the "Trout Bum".

[inline "SUPERFINE 3 400.jpg"]
[black]That same year they came out with the "RED" four piece "Superfine" in a 7' four weight with a Full Flex 3.0 (I think to soften it up with the multipule pieces). THIS "ROD" was called the "Trout Bum" which they made a series of light weight 4 piece rods and did away with the ONE OUNCE (except that 2 wt.). Still go by "Superfine" though.[/black]
[black]Here is one of the first "Trout Bums" 7' 4 wt.[/black]
