Payson Lake has many selections for camping. You can do either improved or unimproved camping. By the main lake there is 2 campgrounds. The upper campground is more single or double units. The lower campground has 3 or 4 group sites. Below i have posted a web site where you can reserve a spot.
There are also many places close by the lake that you can camp and not pay [
]. The only down side is that there is no facilities(bathrooms, water, tables)[
