Green River and Mantua
#1
Went to the Green over the weekend and had a great time with some family and Kickinbass. We got into some real beauties. The rainbows and cutts were spawning and had great colors (I'll try to post some pics when they are developed). We sight fished when the wind permitted and caught typical 14-19" trout all day long. We caught most on midge emerger and BWO dry's. Some real good hatches of both midge and BWO mayfly came off each day. When the wind got bad Rapala minnows and vibrax spinners worked to catch them too. We got snowed on pretty good but that makes it all the more fun.

We stopped past Mantua on the way home and observed the wiegh-in of a bass tourney going on there and was wondering if any BFT members were involved in that? Saw some nice bass wieghed in and saw a few bass and trout cruising the shallows (Kickinbass even caught one about 15"+). A great weekend![cool]
