[font "Comic Sans MS"][size 3]I was up there several years ago. It is quite a hike and once was enough for me. I woud be surprise if there was fish one in that little mud puddle of a pond. Things may have changed thru the years but I'd be skeptical. [/size][/font]
[font "Comic Sans MS"][size 3]I would guess the shorter hike to White Pine Lake from Tony's Grove would prove more successful for small mountain trout. I do know that the creek below it is chucked full of the little buggers. I do know that White Pine is much more scenic than High Creek with the mountain cliffs surrounding a third of the lake and the big pines. A very nice closer alpine lake indeed and only 3 1/2 miles from Tony's! Heck, hit Tony's too for an albino![/size][/font]
