] BTW many fly fishers practice C&R as I do. When I lived in WA NW of Seattle I found a Clouser Minnow did well on the rivers as did many other flies. If you aren't having much success then perhaps you aren't casting your fly [or what ever] to an area where fish are usually known to hold.
