Grand River at Grand Rapids - [#ff0000]Limits of steelhead have been caught[/#ff0000] on small white spawn bags or jigs with wax worms. A few lake trout were caught in the deeper holes. Walleye have been caught day and night when bouncing minnows off the bottom or when slow trolling with floating rapalas.

[black]Looks like it's time to put the gun away and start fishing again. [/black]

[black]How many steelhead can you catch in a day anyway? [/black]
[black][/black]
[black]Most years I just call it quits after deer hunting season and wait for the lakes to thaw out in the spring but I think I'll try to put a few stealhead and walleye in the freezer where the venison is suppose to be since the buck is still limping around in the woods.[crazy][/black]
